Cops cripple drug syndicates, seize drugs worth RM1.2mil


GEORGE TOWN: Penang police crippled two drug syndicates here following the arrest of five suspects and seizure of drugs worth more than RM1.2mil in a two-day operation.

State police chief Comm Datuk Sahabudin Abd Manan said the suspects were arrested in several raids carried out by the state police contingent and Central Seberang Prai Narcotics Crime Investigation Department since last Friday.
