KTMB ready to deploy diesel trains in eastern region


KUALA KRAI: Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd’s (KTMB) eastern region is now ready to fully run its new Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) trains to replace the present conventional trains.

Its manager Redzuan Abdullah said KTMB upgraded the rail tracks and stations along the east coast route from Tumpat to Gua Musang, stretching over a 200km distance.
