IPOH: The number of people allowed to perform their prayers in mosques and surau in Perak will be based on the standard operating procedures (SOP) and capacity of the prayer halls.
Perak Islamic Religion and Malay Customs Council chief executive officer Sharul Azam Shaari said Sultan Nazrin Shah had consented to allow more people to perform prayers in mosques and surau after consultation with the state Fatwa Committee.
