Lorry driver gets jail, fined for stealing RM600k from bank


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A lorry driver who made headlines when he succeeded in making off with RM600,000 from a bank within 20 minutes without the use of weapons in 2017, was sentenced to five years in jail and fined RM8,000 by the Magistrate's Court here.

Magistrate Nurfarahain Roslan meted out the sentence on R. Kartik, 31, after he was found guilty at the end of the defence case on Friday (June 19).
