Court of Appeal dismisses Zahid's appeal to consolidate CBT charges

PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): Former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi failed in his appeal against the dismissal of his application to consolidate his 12 criminal breach of trust (CBT) charges over funds belonging to Yayasan Akalbudi into three charges.

This follows a unanimous decision by a three-man bench of the Court of Appeal Tuesday (June 23) to dismiss Zahid's appeal against the decision made by Kuala Lumpur High Court Judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah on Nov 8 last year.
