Women joining Aidiladha prayers in Perak mosques must be accompanied

IPOH: Muslim women attending Hari Raya Aidiladha prayers in mosques and surau must be accompanied by a mahram (kin).

Perak Islamic Religion and Malay Customs Council chief executive officer Shahrul Azam Shaari said this when he announced that women would be performing the prayers at specially-prepared spaces within mosques or surau.
