Notice for TNB residential customers

Walk into any Kedai Tenaga for any queries or assistance.

WITH its tagline “Here for you”, Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has sent out a notice to domestic customers explaining what they can expect from their July 2020 bill.

In the next seven days or so, TNB domestic customers will receive their July 2020 bill along with a detailed statement* of Bantuan Prihatin Elektrik Tambahan (BPE) for the months of April, May and June by post.

On June 20, the government together with TNB announced the BPE as an additional aid to benefit all 7.66 million domestic customers in the form of free electricity up to RM231 for the three months during the movement control order (MCO). The aid will be reflected in their actual bill.

This is in line with the government’s efforts to ease the cost of living in the past few months.

In addition, domestic customers who use electricity between 601 to 900kWh per month will enjoy a 10% discount from now until December, which is an additional eight percent on top of the existing two percent discount rate that they are currently enjoying.

Those eager to check their bill and detailed statement can also opt to view it via myTNB app or portal, 48 hours after receiving the customer notice.

For more information, contact the TNB CareLine at 1300 88 5454, email to tnbcareline@tnb.com.my, log on to myTNB app or myTNB portal at www.mytnb.com.my. Alternatively, you can also visit the nearest Kedai Tenaga to get personal assistance.
