PETALING JAYA: The Opposition will object to the government's move to replace Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof and his deputy Nga Kor Ming.

In a joint statement, a group of seven lawmakers said that both Mohamad Ariff and Nga had acted professionally as managers and administrators of the Dewan Rakyat.
