Police seize drugs worth almost RM1mil, arrest family members in raids


KUALA LUMPUR: Almost a million ringgit worth of drugs were seized in separate raids that also saw the arrest of five people, including three family members.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim said in the first raid, police detained a 60-year-old at the side of the road in Taman Lagenda Mas in Cheras here at about 6.30pm on Thursday (July 9).
