Govt mulls review of Destitute Persons Act to deal with homeless issue, says Women's Ministry


KUALA LUMPUR: The government plans to review the Destitute Persons Act 1977 to better deal with the homeless, says Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Harun (pic).

"We plan to review the Act to look at improving the law as it was passed a long ago," she said when replying Wan Hassan Mohd Ramli (PN-Dungun) in Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday (July 15).
