KUALA LUMPUR: There will be no hike in water tariffs in light of the economic challenges faced by the rakyat due to the Covid-19 pandemic, says Environment and Water Minister Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.
"I give a guarantee that the government will not raise water tariffs in the present situation where the rakyat is burdened by the economy and daily pressure due to the ongoing pandemic which has yet to be resolved.
