Malaysian student is index case of Melbourne cluster in Sarawak, says Health DG


PETALING JAYA: A Malaysian student who returned home from Australia tested positive for Covid-19 upon arrival in Kuching and is the index case of the “Melbourne cluster” where two people have tested positive for the virus, says Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The Health Director General said the student returned from Australia on July 15 and had taken two flights; one from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur and a connecting flight to Kuching.
