Pakistani who insulted Sabah community to pay fine in buffaloes


KOTA KINABALU: A Pakistani businessman was slapped with a native customary fine of eight buffaloes and eight gongs for insulting the Kadazandusun Murut Rungus (KDMR) community at the Kota Marudu Native Court.

The court’s district chief Datuk Baintin Adun who presided at the trial, said Amir Ali Khan Nawatay was found guilty of six offences in the viral voice recording where he insulted the KDMR community of Kota Marudu.
