Ahmad Maslan fails to strike out charges

KUALA LUMPUR: The Sessions Court has dismissed an application by Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan to strike out charges relating to his failure to declare monies received to the Inland Revenue Board and also making a false statement to the anti-graft body.

The Pontian MP was charged with not declaring RM2mil he received from former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and giving a false statement to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
