KUALA LUMPUR: Opposition lawmakers welcomed the High Court's decision that found former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak guilty on all seven counts in the first series of cases involving the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal, saying that it is a victory for the rakyat.
It was reported that Najib was found guilty on all seven charges in his first trial linked to the 1MDB scandal.
