Ex-PWD accountant jailed one year

IPOH: A 40-year-old former Public Works Department assistant accountant has been sentenced to 12 months’ jail and fined RM70,000 after pleading guilty to 14 charges of falsifying documents.

Roslan Al Sidek Sulaiman, formerly with the department’s mechanical branch, pleaded guilty to all 14 charges under Section 471 of the Penal Code for offences committed between September 2014 and January 2015.
