MACC confirms Guan Eng's arrest, to be charged over Penang undersea tunnel project (updated)

PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has confirmed that former finance minister Lim Guan Eng has been arrested and will be charged at the Kuala Lumpur High Court tomorrow (Aug 7).

“The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has received instructions from the Attorney General to charge former Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng,” MACC said in a statement late Thursday (Aug 6).
