KUCHING: Sarawak will step up monitoring and enforcement to stamp out open burning during the current dry spell to prevent the recurrence of haze, says Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah (pic).
The Deputy Chief Minister said divisional disaster management committees have been instructed to keep an eye on dry and fire-prone areas in their respective divisions.
