Several MPs start petition to reduce RM1,000 fine for not wearing face masks in public


KUALA LUMPUR: Several lawmakers have started a petition urging the government to reduce the RM1,000 fine for flouting the face mask-wearing rule.

Bandar Kuching MP Kelvin Yii said so far 78 lawmakers have signed the petition, out of which five are from the ruling government.
