BALIK PULAU: A preschool teacher here expressed her love and patriotism in conjunction with this year’s National Month by creating a replica of the Covid-19 virus as a symbol of the struggle to free Malaysia from the pandemic.
Normala Md Desa, 57, a teacher with Tabika Perpaduan, said the replica made with a friend this year was different from the ones created in previous years which symbolised national landmarks such as the Petronas Twin Towers, Penang Bridge and Bukit Bendera funicular train.
