Covid-19: Tawar, Sala clusters could have been avoided by adherence to SOPs


PUTRAJAYA: The spread of the Covid-19 clusters in Tawar and Sala in the northern states could have been avoided if standard operating procedures (SOPs) were adhered to, says the Health Ministry.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said based on investigations, the Tawar cluster was spread because of family members who did not fully adhere to the ministry’s SOPs at a gathering.
