SEPANG: The Wildlife Conservation Act 2010, which is expected to be amended to impose harsher sentences for poachers, would be tabled in the next Parliament session, says Datuk Abdul Kadir Abu Hashim.
The Wildlife and National Parks Department (Perhilitan) director-general said the amendments included a fine of up to RM1mil and up to 15 years imprisonment for those guilty of poaching.
