Minister Khairuddin slapped with RM1k compound for quarantine violation


PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry has slapped Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali with a RM1,000 compound for not complying with the 14-day quarantine rule upon returning from Turkey.

In a statement Saturday (Aug 22), the ministry said Khairuddin returned from his trip on July 7, and his first nasopharyngeal swab taken on the same day turned out to be negative, as did his second and third test.
