JOHOR BARU: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has detained a Very Large Crude Carrier for anchoring without permission at 13 nautical miles (24.1km) northeast of Tanjung Siang near Kota Tinggi.
Tanjung Sedili MMEA zone director Kpt Mohd Zulfadli Nayan said the Singapore-registered tanker was detained at 2.15pm on Thursday after the crew failed to produce official permission to anchor there.
