Family pays off RM200k of eldest son's debt, but loan sharks persist

KUALA LUMPUR: A family from Penang has not had a moment of peace ever since one of the children borrowed money from loan sharks to feed his gambling habit.

MCA Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Seri Michael Chong said the family had been enduring harassment from the loan sharks since Aug 12.
