Factory hands held over pollution of Sungai Gong


KUALA LUMPUR: The Selayang Magistrate’s Court ordered two factory workers to be remanded for six days to help investigations into the pollution of Sungai Gong in Rawang that disrupted water supply for 1.2 million consumer accounts in the Klang Valley.

Magistrate Nik Mohd Fadli Nik Azlan issued the remand order against the two men, aged 20 and 57. They were brought to the Selayang Courts Complex after they were arrested at a premises in Jalan Batu Arang, Rawang.
