MIRI: A king tide and heavy rain has caused flooding in five districts in Sarawak and the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department has deployed ground units to check on the situation, it said in its latest updates Tuesday (Sept 8) morning.

"Samalaju in northern Sarawak as well as Bintangor, Sibu, Kanowit and Kapit districts in central Sarawak have seen flash floods due to the rain and king tide.
