PETALING JAYA: Some 522 individuals were detained for violating the recovery movement control order (MCO) in various ways, including attending activities in nightclubs and pubs, breaching social distancing, and not wearing face masks in crowded places.
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said of those arrested, 342 people were compounded while 180 were remanded following enforcement and monitoring activities by the police on Saturday (Sept 19).
