Housewife starts eight-year jail term for abusing maid after appeal dismissed


PUTRAJAYA: A housewife who abused her Indonesian maid in 2016 has been sent to jail after she failed to set aside her eight-year jail sentence.

A three-man bench of the Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal by Rozita Mohamad Ali here on Thursday (Sept 24) and she will begin serving her jail time at the Kajang Women’s Prison today.
