First batch of Malaysian troops in 2020 en route to Lebanon for peacekeeping mission


SUBANG: The first batch of Malaysian battalion troops in 2020 is on their way to a peacekeeping mission in Lebanon.

Deputy Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz said the first team comprised 215 personnel and was led by Malaysia Batallion 850-8 commander Kol Azudin Hassan.
