KUCHING: The Sarawak government will not "bulldoze" through the gazetting of privately-owned historical buildings without consulting the owners first, says Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
The state Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister said historical buildings or areas could be gazetted for preservation under the Sarawak Heritage Ordinance 2019.
