MACC: We have protected 290 whistleblowers since 2016


PUTRAJAYA (Bernama): The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has given protection under the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 to 290 individuals for providing information relating to corrupt activities and abuses of power since 2016.

MACC Chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Azam Baki said the safety of the whistleblowers is guaranteed under the law.
