Lam Thye: High-powered task force should be set up to combat scams


KUALA LUMPUR: A high-powered task force should be formed to effectively combat all forms of scams in the country, says Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye (pic).

The Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) senior vice chairman said the task force should consist of representatives from the police, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), banking institutions, telecommunication companies, cyberSecurity, the Home Ministry and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Ministry.
