Marine cops arrest duo, confiscate 151 cartons of untaxed liquor, vehicles worth almost RM300k

The contraband liquor that was confiscated by the marine police during an operation at Gelang Patah, Johor.

JOHOR BARU: Marine police have arrested two men, including a Myanmar national, and confiscated 151 cartons of untaxed liquor and vehicles worth almost RM300,000 during an operation at Gelang Patah here.

Marine Police Region II commander Asst Comm Muhd Zailani Abdullah said that the duo were arrested during a routine patrol by the police near a beach area at Forest City near Tanjung Kupang at about 8.20pm on Monday (Oct 19).
