PM arrives in Kuantan for audience with King over emergency declaration

KUANTAN: The Prime Minister has arrived here to have an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong following speculation that a state of emergency will be declared to step up the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and to put a stop to the political squabble.

Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah arrived at Istana Abdulaziz here at 4.30pm Friday (Oct 23).
