Sabah hands out RM300 assistance to tourism workers affected by conditional MCO

KOTA KINABALU: Some 3,957 mountain guides, porters, tourist drivers, divemasters and artists affected by the current conditional movement control order (MCO) will be given RM300 each in assistance.

State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Jafry Ariffin said this was part of the efforts by the government to assist people whose incomes had been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
