Courts to strictly follow SOPs during conditional MCO


PETALING JAYA: Court cases in states under the conditional movement control order (MCO) will be managed in accordance with strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the authorities, says the Federal Court Chief Registrar's Office in Putrajaya.

It said Chief Justice of Malaya Tan Sri Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat has ordered that courts in Terengganu, Negri Sembilan, Johor, Perak, Kedah, Penang and Melaka to follow the SOPs set, which include online hearings.
