Young siblings swept away in truck in Keningau found dead

KOTA KINABALU: The bodies of two preschool siblings who were in a vehicle that was swept away in the swift-flowing Liawan River in Sabah’s interior Keningau, have been recovered – four days after they went missing.

Sabah Fire and Rescue Department director Kamarulzaman Malik Abdullah confirmed that the children's bodies were found in two separate locations 10 minutes apart by different teams combing the river and its tributaries downstream, at about 2pm on Thursday (Nov 12).
