Half of new Covid-19 cases in Sabah linked to Sandakan Prison, Avenue clusters


KOTA KINABALU: The Sandakan Prison cluster and a new cluster dubbed "Avenue" in Penampang district accounted for about half of the positive cases recorded in Sabah on Tuesday (Nov 17).

State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Masidi Manjun said out of the 499 new cases, the Sandakan Prison cluster contributed 122 and Avenue recorded 106.
