Pontian Civil Defence Force conduct surveillance following high tide


PONTIAN: The Civil Defence Force conducted surveillance around Pontian district and the shorelines after the water level in the areas rose to about 3.5m on Tuesday (Nov 15).

Its Pontian chief Captain Noorhafidzul Nordin said the water had started to rise at about 10.30am due to the high tide phenomenon that usually occurs during the monsoon season.
