Courier replaces ‘half-eaten’ murukku


MELAKA: A committee member with a local crime prevention society here has expressed satisfaction that a courier service acted promptly on his complaint that his gift of a jar of murukku to a friend was “half-eaten”.

Melaka’s Indian Crime Prevention Society treasurer RA Saravana Theerta said the company was apologetic and offered to compensate him for the loss.
