"I hope that the organisation of this Asiawater Exhibition meets the current needs and serves as the best platform for interaction, technology sharing, expertise and experience among developing countries in the region, " said Environment and Water Minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.

PETALING JAYA: To ensure water security for consumers, the government is aiming for a significant reduction in non-revenue water (NRW) over the next 10 years, says Environment and Water Minister Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.

The aim is to reduce NRW from the current rate of 36.8% to 30% in 2025 and 25% by 2030, he said.
