Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamad
IPOH: Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Saarani Mohamad has thanked the Yang di-Pertuan Agong for consenting to declare a state of emergency in Gerik and postponing the by-election there scheduled for Jan 16 next year.
Saarani said even though the constituency was still a green zone, there was no guarantee that it would remain so with the expected movement of people during a by-election.
