Sabah govt to re-evaluate ban on log exports


KOTA KINABALU: The state government will make an assessment on whether to maintain the ban on the export of logs from Sabah, which was implemented during Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal’s tenure as chief minister.

Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Abidin Madingkir said that the state government will study whether to retain the ruling introduced by the previous Warisan-Plus government or to allow log exports to resume.
