Health Ministry expecting spike in Covid-19 cases following compulsory screenings for foreign workers


KOTA TINGGI: The Health Ministry is expecting an increase in reported Covid-19 cases following the compulsory screenings for foreign workers that started on Friday (Jan 1).

Its minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba (pic) said that the Social Security Organisation (Socso) has provided employers with the capability to screen 800,000 foreign workers at high-risk states namely Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Penang, Sabah and Kuala Lumpur.
