KUCHING: Strong guardrails will be installed at all ferry crossing points in Sarawak to prevent a recurrence of Friday’s tragedy, where a four-wheel drive plunged into Sungai Batang Lupar in Sri Aman, says Deputy Chief Minister II Tan Sri Dr James Masing.
Masing, who is also Sarawak Infrastructure Development and Ports Minister, said the state Public Works Department had been instructed to erect the guardrails immediately.
