Covid-19: Highest-ever daily total recorded as new cases breach 3,000


PETALING JAYA: The number of Covid-19 cases breached the 3,000 mark for the first time on Thursday (Jan 7), setting a new record for the highest number recorded in a day.

Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham said that 3,027 cases were recorded compared to the previous record of 2,593 on Wednesday (Jan 6).
