Disabled girl who died may have been abused


KUALA LUMPUR: A five-year-old disabled girl who died recently was found to have been allegedly caned, kicked and stepped on by the person caring for her – her grandaunt.

Police said a post-mortem conducted at Hospital Kuala Lumpur revealed that the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the abdomen that led to severe damage to her intestines.
