Flood relief centre in Beaufort deactivated, evacuees allowed to return home


KOTA KINABALU: The sole flood relief centre in the Beaufort district was deactivated as of noon Friday (Jan 8), as all evacuees were allowed to return home.

The 35 flood victims from Kampung Bakalau housed at Dewan DSP Mohd Dun Banir had earlier been given permission to return home Friday as the water levels had gone down in the district.
