PUTRAJAYA: The Taiping Prison and its staff quarters will be placed under the enhanced movement control order beginning Jan 26 following emergence of Covid-19 cases in the locality.
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that as of Jan 23, health authorities reported 43 positive cases in the prison, involving 40 inmates and three staff members.
